Joyful, playful music-making belongs in the life of every child. It
stimulates brain development, coordination, self esteem, community building,
and family fun - all of this while developing foundational skills for lifetime
enjoyment of music and movement. |

10 weekly 45-minute classes of informal, non-performance
oriented music experiences: singing, listening, moving, exploring instruments,
engaging in dramatic play. Establishing beat competency and nurturing the
singing voice are primary musical goals, fostered in an age-appropriate,
playful atmosphere. Through folk songs, movement stories, listening activities,
and seasonal games, small classes experiment musically with such concepts
as high & low, loud & quiet, short & long. |

Well-produced home materials assist parents &
caregivers in having as much enjoyment as their children in sharing these
activities, from infancy until the young musicians are ready for any
further musical instruction they may choose. Early childhood is a crucial
time for this necessary exposure to music and movement experiences. |
